The Pear of Pairs!

Greetings to you, Dearest Friends!
I open my doors again to The Gossamer Tearoom with a silly collage I have made! It is a rather late submission to Itkupilli's and Elegia's Challenge Blog, Collage Obsession! The challenge word this week was "a pair". Now you know being a food-obsessed individual, I hear the word "pair" and my brain hears the word "pear"!!! So, why not have fun with both words! So, I turned their picture into a pair of pears, or just because it's funny to me, a pear of pairs!!!

I am so very happy to be back with you, my dear blogging friends!! Thanks so to all who had such nice thoughts for us during our move! I am planning a special virtual tea party here in The Tearoom, to celebrate my return, just for us! I think it will have to have something to do with Valentine's Day, considering we are so close! And please ponder this...what person, imaginary or real, dead or alive, someone you know or someone you don't, would you invite to come along with you to this party?

Wishing you all a very lovely evening and a wonderful weekend!

Betty

  5. Bonjour,
Glad to see you are back, hope all went well with the big move. It is alot of work.
You did a lovely collage, such a sweet pear couple.

Are men allowed at this tea? If so I'll bring my honey, we're big tea drinkers and love the little sweet treats! If girls only, I would have loved to bring my dear Mother. She passed away 4 years this March - she was my best friend. We did everything together and we loved to stop for tea!

    Bonne week-end!

  8. That is a great work of art, not silly at all!

I am so happy for you (and me) that you are back.
One of my daughters is in Washington DC right now and reports two feet of snow, just like the forecast said. I remember one Super Bowl Night when we had also lots of snow in DC, 2003 maybe. One of our neighbors on the court decided to invite all his neighbors and we had a whole lot of fun, all walking through the snow.

What a beautiful collage, so unexpected and so interesting and so creative! When it comes to tea, I would, probably, like to bring my Newfoundland puppy Little Moe with me. We both love tea and cookies! :-)
